      This project requires wooden cubes, which are available to purchase online or at your local crafts store. The engraving file is for 1in x 1in cubes but can be scaled according to the cubed you have.

How to Play Chess Dice

Chess Dice is played using a standard chessboard and pieces. Before each turn, roll the die to determine which type of piece you must move. If you have a legal move with that piece, you must make it. If no legal move exists, roll again (or pass your turn if using that variation). The game follows all standard chess rules, including check, checkmate, castling, en passant, and pawn promotion.

The randomness of the die creates new challenges, encouraging players to think creatively while still practicing core chess strategy.
