Information

A laser-cut wooden gift box designed to hold a bottle, with a sliding top lid, finger-joint construction, rope handle, and plenty of space for custom engraving or decoration.

The project includes two separate canvases:

One canvas is designed for machines with a larger working area.
The second canvas is optimized for machines with a smaller working area, like F1.

For the smaller-machine version, some of the larger panels are divided and positioned so you can cut one side of the panel, flip the same piece over, and continue cutting the other side. This makes it possible to produce the full-size box even on machines with a limited working area.
The speech bubble is a separate piece and was attached using double-sided adhesive tape for a clean finish.
Designed for 3 mm plywood.

Step1

On the smaller-machine canvas, the larger panels are split for two-step cutting. The prison-bar engraving was added only after the full panel was cut, so the engraved design remains continuous and accurately aligned.
