Funny Crafting Black Acrylic Engraving Design

Place a piece of frosted black matte acrylic in the bed of the laser, ensuring it is level. 

Open the file, take an image of the bed, and measure the distance (using the ruler). 

Size and position the design. Ensure it is set to engraving.

CUSTOMIZING OPTION: the paper wording or morse code on the small piece of paper can be swapped to customize your own personal message, gift note, or anything else you'd like to put there.

The settings will be loaded if you have the M2 10 watt, but those are 50 power, 340 speed, 1 pass, 120 LPC, and please turn on crosshatch (under advanced engraving settings). 

Ensure the design is perfectly positioned onto your acrylic by framing. I used the video framing feature in the M2 (so cool). 

Process the design. Note: it is a little longer to process with crosshatch and very interesting to watch. 

Remove the piece after engraving and use an acrylic cleaner and a lint-free cloth to remove the detritus processed during engraving.
