Personalized Keepsake Plaque for the First and Last Day of School Personalized

Pretty plaque to take souvenir photos of the first and last day of school. This plate has two handles for a better grip.

I made my creation on  3mm thick linden plywood in 30x30 cm size.

The name and flowers in white are 3D printed. If you don't have a printer, you can engrave or cut them to make a volume and paint them in the color of your choice and then glue them with wood glue on the plate.

To be able to change the class level labels and my first and last day I have provided 10x2 mm neodymium magnets. You will see in the file the place of the magnets are drawn so that they can be placed more easily on each label.

The different steps:

• Cut and engrave the large plate with the labels that goes on the plywood plate by hiding the magnet engravings on the labels and everything that doesn't go on the plate on the xtool studio software.
• Then, turn the labels over by not moving the plywood plate, then hide everything that has already been made on the xtool studio software. Also hide the contours which are in cutting mode for each positioning of the magnets, it serves to perfectly superimpose the front and back of the label. Start the engraving of the magnet positioning.
• On another plywood plate, carry out the same operations with what has not yet been cut and engraved.

The outline of the first name is engraved on the plate to position the name in volume perfectly. To personalize it, I wrote the first name and made a 4.5mm offset.

Then, I cut out the offset and engraved the name disappointed that I then 3D printed. You can also cut the name out of the plywood and paint it to add a little color and make a volume.

For flowers, you can engrave them on the plate or cut out and paint them to give volume.

If you want a more resistant plate, you can cut 2 plates and glue them together with wood glue.
