Information

      It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... so I've started preparing my Christmas ornaments to get ready for the holiday season!

Step1: Prepare the Materials

  • Select 2mm or 3mm basswood plywood, or any other sturdy material you prefer for your ornament base.
  • Choose a Christmas-themed scrapbook paper to decorate the surface.
  • Using strong adhesive, apply an even layer of glue on the base of your ornament.
  • Carefully place the scrapbook paper onto the glued surface, smoothing out any air bubbles or wrinkles.
  • Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.

This will give your ornament a festive, decorative background!

Step2: Cut the Project and Assemble

  • Process the project in your laser cutting machine.
  • Once the ornament base and top layer is cut, use strong adhesive to attach it to the base. Align each piece carefully and press down firmly to ensure a secure bond. 
  • Allow everything to dry completely before handling.
  • Add some twine or a ribbon and you are done!
