Information

I made a simple lampshade for my daughter. She had wished for something with cherry blossoms. I made the whole thing with my M1 Ultra and in combination with a color-changing light bulb it creates a great effect.

The size is adapted to an E27 bulb socket with a diameter of 45mm and a threaded closure. When imitating, please pay attention to your own measurements!

A circle with holes and a circle without holes are each glued together. So you have two equal parts.

Now glue the ribs to one of the circles,

making sure that the small holes are at the top and the bend of the ribs runs downwards.

Step4: Cutting bamboo stick

-Have the bamboo skewer cut (secure well against slipping).

Alternatively, saw by hand, or snap off with pliers.

16 pieces of equal length are required. I took 13 mm, but it can also be varied.

-Insert the 16 bamboo sticks into the holes provided and glue.

To allow the rods to dry in a straight line, the second circle can be attached.

Step5: Blade cut tracing paper + assembling

In the meantime, have the petals cut out of the tracing paper.

At least 8 petals are needed. If you want to make a double layer, you can also cut out 16 pieces.

The finished petals are now placed on the bamboo sticks in turn. For a second layer, work in a staggered manner.

Then attach the second circle. This does not need to be glued. So you can, if desired, replace the petals later.
