      Hello everyone! 
Here is my participation for the #TurnMaterialsIntoLight

Start by cutting out the first canvas. Once the cutting is complete, remove the parts, and position them correctly. Then repeat the same operation with the second canvas.

Caution: the parts are fragile when they have just been removed from the machine. Handle them with care.

Once the two canvases are printed and all the pieces in front of you, follow the steps illustrated in the photos to proceed with the assembly.

Glue the individual pieces together, making sure to follow the indicated direction of gluing. A slot with an 8 mm hole is provided for the installation of the clock mechanism. You can also install an LED strip on the back for a bright look.

And that's it, your creation is ready!

Cut out the clock pieces from the first canvas, then arrange them in front of you as shown in the photo below.

The model shown is made of walnut, but you can use another type of wood.

To obtain a rendering close to that of the photos, choose a dark-colored species.

Step2: Cutting

Cut out the clock pieces from the second canvas.

Caution: The parts are particularly fragile when you remove them from the machine. Handle them with care so as not to break them.

The pieces of this second canvas are cut from poplar.

Then apply glue to the back of the pieces, making sure to respect the direction of gluing. Present them as shown in the photos, then place a weight on them while drying to ensure a good grip.

For a clean gluing, it is advisable to brush the glue over the entire surface rather than applying a few dots of glue. This method allows a better distribution of the glue and limits the risk of overflow on the walnut tree.

Step3: Assemblage

Glue the remaining pieces respecting their position, as shown in the photos.

Make sure to respect the direction and location of each element to get the final result.

Birds, on the other hand, can be arranged freely as you wish. Customize their placement to make your clock unique!

Step4: Finiton

Step 4: Install your clock mechanism, then add the LED strip to the back of the clock if you want mood lighting.

you have to do is hang it!

You can also add a little touch of colour to your creation with felt-tip pens suitable for wood. A few colorful details can bring an even more original look and highlight your clock more.
