Information

      This is a file for a simple yet detailed miniature classic one piece school desk with an openable top. Teachers can engrave each students name on the opening lid to assign seats the first day. The desk also has the school name across the front, the teachers name and room number above the seat and a motivational message inside when they open the lid. There is plenty of room for teachers to place a small treat, or personalized interactive activity piece for planned classroom activities through the year. This is a fun and easy project to cut out and put together. Load a clean piece of 1/8” plywood. Cut out the desk and then assemble like in the video.

Step 1. Lay out Pieces and Familliarize yourself with the assmebly.
Step 2. Pre Cut several small pieces of masking tape to hold pieces together during assembly.
Step 3. Apply glue to desk outside structure as well as desk compartment bottom like in video.
Step 4. Apply glue to front and back desk panels, install and tape these pieces together ensuring good allignment.
Step 5. Apply Glue to opposite side outer desk structure.
Step 6. Place desk top into slotted hole on currently glued/taped desk assembly.
Step 7. Install desk outside structure and secure in place with tape.
Step 8. Apply glue to seating and back rest mount surfaces.
Step 9. Install seating and back mount boards. All the same size and each can go anywhere.
Step 10. Allow glue to set, then remove tape.
