Information

Engraved this Stainless Steel flask to sell in a tourist shop in BC. Because it was curved, I defocused. I measured the highest point and the lowest and split the difference. It worked quite well. I couldn't make the curved surface work in F2 Ultra UV to measure it. this was easier anyway.

Step1

Because I couldn't get the curved surface function to read the flask properly, I manually defocused. It was just a matter of measuring the highest distance and the lowest. On my flask the difference was 2.7mm, so I split the difference ( 1.35mm defocus from high point) and it worked well.

Everything else was straight forward.
