Laser Cut Tetris Set

      A laser cut tetris set, designed for wood and 6x2mm magnets. It contains all the pieces, although some you will need to mirror. They come grouped so its very easy to do. I did mine in random 6mm plywood and hammered the magnets in, they are held by press fit. 

The magnet holes can be easily changed, if you want to do it out of acrylic, you need to know the tolerances, so cut some test pieces first.


The story behind this particular design is when my daughter started exploring the world around her at the age of 2 she saw me playing tetris and wanted to try it. Being only 2, her hand coordination was not quite developed and I did not want her to use tablets or phones. 

I just got a laser cutter and decided to make a little tetris set for her. She usually abandons toys after a couple of days, but this stuck with her for a long time.
She is 5 years old and plays LEGO games with us on our PS5 in the evening family time and kinda abandoned her tetris set :( 

But it helped turn her into a smart little gamer she is today. Hopefully, this set can entertain your little one as well!
