Live hinge pint ice cream holder that Insulates

This idea of mine took all day !  After failing, I did my homework and learned about conical frustums.   Tapered cyclinders are harder to make than I thought! 
 It’s rewarding to take an idea and successfully finish it though. Now my Ben and Jerry’s won’t melt as quickly.  

I designed this so the wall can snuggle fit in the grooves. Start with the smaller bottom and run a bead of glue.  Place and gently spread the shorter end of the wall until touching then get ready to add the larger top ring.  I’d actually suggest not gluing the inner ring of the bottom until the wall is in.  During assembly I realized this as I fought to get it in the groove.    Once you get the sidewall in, add the inner ring.  

Bottom circle can be cut out or left in place for a bottom.  I added a side strip along the seam for strength and to mimic the look of a pint of ice cream.  In the future I may add a spoon holder,but may I’ll see one in a remix.  Enjoy!
