Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree project!

Information
I made this tree based on the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book. Made it as a decoration for my pre-K classroom. I would said is a medium in difficulty because of of the size. But the material was super easy to work with
Instruction
Step1: First I cut the huge sheets using a hand Seesaw.
Took the 2 sheets of Insultion and cut them to size. I needed a corner so I had to make a 90 degree angle
Step2: I cut up the leaves and lines for the trunk, I was able tomo cut the smaller leaves with my laser machine, but the bigger ones I had to to it wity my Seesaw
The bigger lines were cut up
With a seesaw but the “smaller a” where cut out with my d10w pro.
Step3: Filling up the gaps and glueing leaves together…
I use “great stuff” (that’s the name) no glue all the leaves and all the layers of the trunk. Then I had to wait a few hrs until it was dry.
Step4: Filling up more gaps…
After the trunk was dried, I added some more great stuff to the top, once this was dry I marked where I wanted to cut to give more shape to my trunk. And I cut it with a. Hand foam cutter…
Step5: Paint…. And some more paint….
After everything was dry, I proceeded to paint everything. Many coats where needed on the grooves of the tree. That’s took a long time. 🫠
Step6
I cut different size letters using the font FUTURA. The laser machine saved my hrs of work cutting this babies! And then a few other coats of paint… 🧑🎨🎨
Step7: Glue… and done!!
I finally glue all the letters, the extra leave and the coconuts!!!! I love the results!!!
