Material Requirements

1/8" (3mm) plywood (main structure)

1/8" acrylic (display panel)

Optional: wood or acrylic insert for logo panel (96mm x 96mm)

Wood glue or suitable craft adhesive (required for assembly)

Assembly Overview

This design features a pencil box holder with a slightly angled front display panel intended for showcasing an interchangeable acrylic insert.

The front display area is designed to fit:

Acrylic logo panel (recommended for polished or modern look)

Wood insert (alternative option)

Standard size: 96mm x 96mm

Before Cutting

Confirm material thickness is set to 1/8" (3mm)

Ensure all parts are correctly assigned to cut/engrave layers

Check kerf settings if your machine requires compensation

Run a dry fit preview if your software supports it

Cutting & Engraving

All cut and engraving parameters are pre-configured in the file

Do not modify power/speed unless adapting to a different machine or material

Ensure proper focus for both plywood and acrylic (adjust focus if switching materials)

Assembly Instructions

Cut all plywood and acrylic components.

Dry-fit all parts to confirm proper alignment.

Apply wood glue or suitable craft adhesive to all joining tabs and contact surfaces.

Assemble the main pencil box structure and hold pieces in place until secure.

Insert the angled acrylic/wood display panel into the front slot.

Secure the display panel with glue if a permanent fit is desired (optional).

Insert your 96mm x 96mm engraved or cut logo panel.

Safety Notes

Always operate laser equipment in a well-ventilated area.

Use appropriate eye protection for your laser type.

Never leave the machine unattended while cutting or engraving.

Acrylic may produce fumes—ensure proper ventilation or filtration.
