All engraving parameters (speed, power, passes, and other processing settings) are already included in the project file. Simply open the file in your compatible laser software and verify that the settings match your machine and material before starting.

Before Engraving

Place your coaster securely on the laser bed.

Ensure the material is flat and properly aligned.

Set the correct focus for your laser.

Confirm the design is positioned correctly within the material boundaries.

Perform a framing test before engraving.

Safety

Always follow the manufacturer's safety guidelines for your laser machine.

Wear appropriate laser safety eyewear when required.

Operate the laser in a well-ventilated area with proper exhaust.

Never leave the laser unattended while it is operating.

Keep the work area free of flammable materials.

Ensure your machine's emergency stop is accessible at all times.

Material Notes

This design was originally created for a wood coaster. It can also be engraved on natural stone coasters by enabling Invert Image Mode (or the equivalent setting available in your laser software) to achieve the intended appearance.

Because every laser machine, material batch, and environmental condition is different, it is strongly recommended to perform a small test engraving before producing the final piece.
