Information

Adjustable table lamp with interchangeable shade. The laser-cut openwork pattern creates decorative light projections on the table, walls and ceiling. Thanks to the different colours and materials of the lampshades, the lamp easily changes its atmosphere, from the warm wood/leather look to the colourful effect of acrylic.

Step1

This file allows you to make a modular table lamp with an interchangeable shade.
The pieces are organized by color to facilitate cutting according to materials:
Pink: 3 mm acrylic lampshade parts. Red: 8 mm basswood plywood lamp base main parts. Black: 3 mm basswood plywood lamp base complementary parts, used for adjustment and assembly according to the chosen configuration.
The elements must be cut material by material, with the appropriate settings for your laser machine, the thickness used and the quality of the material. Do not launch all colors in one operation with the same settings.
The base is designed to accommodate interchangeable shades. Magnets can be used to facilitate the positioning, holding and changing of the lampshades depending on the version made.
The openwork pattern of the lampshade allows you to create decorative light projections on the table, walls or ceiling. The lamp can be customized by changing the color of the acrylic or using other finishes that are compatible with mounting, such as wood or leather.
To assemble, start with the lamp base, then install the chosen lampshade. Check the cable passage, the alignment of the parts and the correct positioning of the magnets before gluing or final fixing.
Use only a low-temperature LED bulb to avoid excessive heating of acrylic, wood or leather.
