The imagery is already made for your cutting board. All you need to do is change the name. The first part is putting your first name at the top, then your last name at the bottom. You'll need to align them to create a centered look. To do that, just look at the photo, and you should see the correct buttons to push.

For this, I used a Home Goods cutting board, but I highly recommend an xTool-selected cutting board, as they will include the very best settings for engraving.

Now it's time to laser your cutting board. The settings may vary depending on the type of board you're using, so be sure to adjust accordingly. And don't forget to wear your laser safety glasses!
