Step 1. Laser out the trunk, branches and leaves.

 

Step 2. Personalization: Each neighbor or family receives their own wooden leaf and designs it individually with names, motifs or symbols for personal values.

 

Step 3. Assembly: Attach the tree trunk centrally in the hallway, common room or garden. The leaves are now mounted in a circle around it.

 

Step 4. Annual Growth: Every year in the spring, another "leaf" is added to welcome new residents or as a review of past years.

 

Step 5. Distribute leaves: Each neighbour gets their own wooden leaf. Get creative: Everyone paints their sheet individually (e.g. with name, year of move-in, or fingerprints).

 

Step 6. The assembly: Glue the leaves to the branches of the trunk with wood glue.

 

Step 7. Leave space: Intentionally leave gaps between the leaves.

 

Step 8. Start tradition: Keep the remaining blank sheets in a box so that new neighbors can design their own sheet immediately when they move in.
