Rotating Graduation Globe Sign with Picture Frame

Measure the wooden dowel you will use and drill through the frame.  I marked and drilled with a 5/16th bit.  Now stain or paint everything.   

I have dozens of blank cubes or dice so they were perfect for the end caps of my wooden dowel (approximately 250 mm long).  If I make another one of these, I’ll probably shorten it to reduce any drift or slack in the globe portion.  Drill with ¼” bit and glue.  

Because the globes are engraved, lining this up and running a bead of glue is straightforward.  Allow it to dry for an hour and then glue the sign portion, followed by the photo frame.  

Photo will need to be trimmed.  It’s roughly 75x100 mm.   Now it’s ready to celebrate any graduation.  I put a kindergarten graduation picture to be cute, even though we are much closer to high school graduation.   Enjoy and post your modifications!!!
