Tray made from .5 in Birch plywood recessed using a cnc router, then burning the design using xTool S1.
I got really lucky with this plywood. Interior layer beautiful and without knots or faults. Other trays I have had to veneer before burning. same effect can be achieved by adding a frame to your tray.
