Information

      i've seen a surfboard like this on the internet several times and thought i'd give it a try :)
this time in affinity

Instruction

Step1: Swirls

Preview

we create a swirls with the finished tool
I have taken a very thick contour
we then adjust that

set the windings
the different thicknesses are obtained with the width tool
the inner anchor point is very narrow and the outer anchor point is so wide that the edges do not overlap

Step2: board

the board is created from a rectangle
here i have added the anchor points in the center
top and bottom
then I just moved the existing ones
it is a multiple adjustment of the anchor points and curves

Step3: put together

Preview

Here you can get creative
customize the swirls
mirror and resize
I have created an extra contour for some of them
and subtracted this contour from the border
