Information
I designed this baby distribution box inspired by the joyful moment of welcoming a newborn. The concept started with a soft and friendly visual theme, using a stork carrying a baby to symbolize birth and happiness.
First, I sketched the main structure focusing on balance and stability, ensuring the box can hold small gifts or sweets. Then I created the vector design for laser cutting, carefully separating layers for wood and acrylic elements. The base structure was designed using interlocking joints to make assembly easy without complex tools.
For the decorative elements, I added layered typography (“It’s a Boy” / “It’s a Girl”) using acrylic to create a premium look and depth. The front panel includes wave patterns and a bold “Baby Boy/Girl” text to enhance the visual appeal.
The design supports 2mm and 3mm materials and is optimized for clean laser cutting. All parts are arranged for efficient material usage and easy assembly.
Finally, I tested the proportions and structure to ensure durability and a clean finished look, making it ideal for baby shower decorations and gift presentations.
