I created this 3 Layered Bumble bee model to highlight the capabilities of the F2 Ultra UV laser. 

The Outline, The inner body and the setae.

Each section is at a different height/thickness to give a high detail effect when engraved.

Step1

Notice: Always  Clean and wipe the Glass with IPA and Lint Free cloth before engraving.

Please Laser cut or 3D Print the Positioning Jig first and use Manual coordinates. Guide is in this link here:

Make sure your Z axis for inner engraving is calibrated otherwise the design might not engrave in the center of the Z axis.

The Jig and the settings in the Jig project will help you with placement and alignment in the X and Y Axis's

I used 1.5 refractive index.

Keychain is from xTool store.


Use Inner engraving processing and K5 heart shaped crystal settings.


Settings are are Default K5 crystal setting, Except for layer height, i set it to 0.04mm


Update: Added a Honeycomb 3D pattern for the Bee's background. Just Place it behind the bee and Leave some Space between the bee and the honeycomb.

For the honeycomb use 0.04mm for Layer height and Point spacing.
