i made the design in illustrator
that was too complex for me with XCS and there i can handle the path tool even better
I am proud of the tealight holder
a lot of work but mostly joyful work
i made the lines as a guideline for the sticking
attention the holder is very deep and unsuitable for real tealights
i made it so deep because i have tealights with a rechargeable battery that are this high

in illustrator i created the shape with the path tool
it was important to me that the bottom is straight and everything is stable
furthermore i only made the highest side at first
then i made 2 notches on the sides for the round plates
the height was 3mm including the kerf i calculated
then i copied the page 19 times so that i had a total of 20 pieces

here i just drew a long line from the top left at the highest point of the first side to the far right on the last side as high as i wanted the smallest piece to be
i fixed the line so that it can no longer slip
then i pulled each piece down with the anchor points
sometimes i had to touch it up here because it was edgy
this process also took the longest but was also the most fun :)

first make a circle and then draw a line down the center of the circle
mark the line and select the rotate tool
Ctrl-click and left-click in the middle of the circle
with the rotate window open, set the angle and click copy
then repeat the whole thing 19 times with ctrl d
copy the circle and make it bigger
put a smaller circle in the center to cut out
i made the lines as a guideline for the sticking

Put everything together
the lines serve as guidelines
