Information
I honestly didn’t expect to adopt a cat that day—but somehow, I did.
I saw him just sitting by the street, looking around like he didn’t know where he was supposed to go. He wasn’t hurt, just… alone. When I called him, he actually came over, a little cautious but not scared—and that moment really got me.
At first I told myself, “I’ll just help him out, maybe give him some food.” But the second I picked him up and he stayed completely calm in my arms, I knew there was no way I was putting him back down and walking away.
So I brought him home.
The first couple of days, he was quiet and just observing everything. But then he started following me around, sitting near me, and acting like he’d always been there. And one night, he just jumped onto my lap and fell asleep like it was the most natural thing in the world.
That’s when it really hit me—
I didn’t just adopt a stray cat.
I got chosen.
