Information

I crafted this love paperweight as a gift for my 90-year-old Nanna Jean. She attended my Halloween wedding in October 2025. It features a photo of myself my Husband, my Grandma and my late Nanna from the wedding day. Sadly, Nanna has since spent a long time in hospital, which inspired me to make her this gift so I could present it to her while she was there. Unfortunately, she never got to display it at home as she passed away on April 4th, but when she saw it In hospital it made my heart smile when her little face light up. My Nanna was incredibly proud of me for starting my own business in back in January and loved video calling me to watch me work in my studio.

Her memory will forever live on beautifully inside this love paperweight. <3

Step1

  1. I chose the photo i liked best out the wedding album,

  2. Measured the working area of the paper weight

  3. Aligned it up on to the inner engraving rise

  4. Entered in the measurements required for the x y z axis

  5. Once I was happy with the placement I used the 2.5D image creator to make the photo suitable for inner engraving.

  6. Changed  the settings accordingly to what i thought would be best.

  7. Next I processed the image and it took about 22 minuets.

  8. After this time I checked I was happy with the result and the went on to the final stage of polishing up the glass paper weight :)
