Information

This project brings together in the same crystal all my little family of furry friends, engraved thanks to the "3D photo" function of xTool Studio.

Seeing their four faces appear in volume in the glass was a real moment of joy: as if everyone was finding their place, together, in a bright and tender room.

This internal engraving creates a unique memory, combining technical precision and personal emotion.

Step1

I've left in the XCS file the original photo used to create this burn, so you can compare the rendering before/after the transformation.

I made the final composition from several photos of my animals in Photoshop, but I think it's quite possible to get a similar result with free software, or even directly in xTool Studio. I plan to prepare a dedicated tutorial soon.

Once the image was ready, I imported it into xTool Studio, making sure it was facing up, which ensures a sharper burn.

Before using the 3D Photo function, remember to size your image correctly: once transformed into 3D, it will no longer be possible to change its size without distorting the relief settings chosen during the conversion.

Once the photo has been switched to 3D mode, all you have to do is position it correctly (without changing its dimensions), enter your engraving parameters and start the machine.
