Monogram Bottle Stoppers

Create a circle at 27mm and turn off Output.  This will be used to size our design to fix on the stoppers.

Create a text box and give it the letter A.  

Pick your font.  I went with Alegreya SC Bold but any chunky font will work here.

Adjust the A so it fits well in your circle.

Make 25 copies of the A.  To make this easy to work with I moved one letter a ways out to the right and then selected all letters and chose “Distribute Horizontal” and “Align Vertical” to separate and organize them.

Now give each one a different letter (you may want to distribute again afterwards for even spacing)

Create a text box that is 3.5mm tall and wide enough to cover your letters (extra wide is fine, no need to be too precise here).

Align a box on top of each letter where you will want the names to be.  You'll want to be able to clearly see what each letter is so the placement here may vary.  Move them around until you like the alignment.

For each letter, select the letter and the box and subtract the box.

Create a text box and give it the same font or pick a complimenting font.  I used Lato Bold for the examples.

Add some last names here.  You'll find that depending on the length of the last name the font, width, and height will vary.  I suggest creating a placeholder name for each one and unlocking the aspect ratio.  That way it will be quick to change the name and then adjust the box to fit nicely in the open space available.

For the names I set them up at 70 power and 600 speed with 2 passes.

The monogram letter I want to see a deeper engrave so I gave it the same settings but with 10 passes.  

Because they are so light and you are doing multiple passes you'll want to make sure they will hold still in some manner.  Line everything up with your camera and you're good to go!
