This is an engraved image of a mama bear snuggling her baby bear, with a heart shaped natural border as well as a raised cut heart shaped border. A stand with "Safe in her Arms ... Always" supports the entire piece for a quick and easy mothers day gift that will touch her heart and make her smile.

Load file and cut on ¼ inch white plywood for a good engraved image. My image engraved a bit dark, so ill make the file adjustment and try it lighter.

Lay out parts, check for fitment. Dye / stain to your desired colors. Then glue the dried face on to the engraved backing.

Apply glue to base parts. I like the front to have a bit of a backward angle, so I lean it back slightly, apply a good bead of glue on the back side and then tape it in position while the glue sets.

Glue the framed engraving to the base. Secure firmly in place until glue has completely set. i l like to use a small space heater to accelerate glue curing, but NEVER leave this unattended and never use too close to the project directly.
