Personalized Tumbler using Canva

Select the photo you want to use. Make sure to have a clearly defined background so it can be removed.

If you have a Canva account, log in.

Select "Create a design". The type of design does not matter too much because we will resize it later. I select Flyer.

Go to “Uploads” on the left toolbar. Click on “Upload files” to select the file you want to use.

Once the photo is selected, click “Edit image” on the toolbar above the photo. Select “BG Remover” to remove the background. I do not have the photo published for privacy reasons.

Choose “Duotone” under effects. Then select “Custom”. Make the “Highlights” and “Shadows” black to create the silhouette.

To save, select “Share” in the top-right corner. Scroll to “Download”. Make sure to check the box for “Transparent background”. Now you are ready to move it to xTool Creative Space.

Load the image into xTool Creative Space and prepare to etch your cup.
