Information

Turn a plain fabric pouch into a personalised everyday accessory with a clean laser-engraved house badge design. This project is a great way to customise gift bags, pencil cases, travel pouches, small shoulder bags, and similar accessories with detailed artwork while keeping the look subtle and elegant. These badge-style designs work especially well on many types of fabric and also engrave beautifully on leather, making them a versatile choice for a wide range of personalised products.

Step1: Step-by-Step Guide

1. Choose your badge design
Start by selecting the house badge artwork you want to engrave. Clean black line designs work best, especially ones with strong outlines and clear internal detail.

2. Prepare the artwork
Resize the badge to suit the pouch front panel. Make sure the design fits nicely within the available flat area and does not run into seams, zips, folds, or stitched edges.

3. Check the pouch surface
Lay the fabric pouch flat and inspect the area you want to engrave. Remove any contents and smooth out wrinkles so the surface is as even as possible.

4. Position the pouch securely
Place the pouch in the machine with the engraving area facing up. Take extra care to keep the material flat and stable so the design stays sharp and aligned during the process. The same method can also be used on other fabric items and leather accessories.

5. Frame the design
Use the framing preview to confirm the badge sits exactly where you want it on the pouch. Double-check spacing around the zip, corners, and seams before starting.

6. Engrave the badge
Once everything is aligned, begin the engraving process. Detailed line art creates a subtle and refined result on fabric, giving the pouch a custom premium look.

7. Inspect the result
After engraving, check that the full design has transferred clearly and evenly. Look over the smaller details, lettering, and border lines to make sure the badge is clean and readable.

8. Finish the pouch
Brush away any loose residue if needed and give the pouch a final tidy-up. Your custom engraved pouch is now ready to use, gift, or sell.
