Information

      I created this custom "Homegrown" baby shirt for a 7-month-old boy named JJ after his mother reached out wanting something meaningful and unique.

instead of ordering from a big-box store, she wanted to support a small business-and trusted me to bring her vision to life. 

She Shared that her husband had just purchased a new red international tractor, which inspired the direction of the design. From there, I was given creative freedom to build something special.

I incorporated:
* A bold red tractor as the focal point
* "Homegrown" in custom camouflage style
* "EST 2025" to mark JJ's birth year
* Natural elements like dirt, grass, and texture for a farm-inspired feel

After final approval, the design came together exactly as envisioned-and the reaction from the family made it all worth it.

This piece represents more than just a shirt-it's a memory, a milestone, and a celebration of new beginnings.

Step1: Design Preparation

Created the artwork in Adobe Photoshop using a 300 DPI canvas with a transparent background. The design was carefully composed using multiple layered elements, lighting effects, and textured foreground elements to create depth and realism.

Special attention was given to color balance, contrast, and edge blending to ensure the design would translate cleanly through the DTF printing process. Text elements were customized with stylized effects to enhance readability while maintaining a cohesive, rustic farm-inspired aesthetic.
