Information

I created a closed box system to store, and make accessible, my leather stamping tools. Each closed box has holes sized to accept the stalk of various sized stamping tools with an approximately 100mm long stalk. There is a hole in the base to allow retrieval of the smaller headed tools that may fall through, I'm thinking of putting in a piece of grooved foam to stabilize the tools. The boxes are stackable and with the heads pointing toward you, it's easier to pick out the ones required for the job. Minimal real estate on your work surface is used and it's saved me from digging through cups of stamping tools.

These are set up to use 12"/300mm square sheets of 3mm ply. It is a very basic symmetrical box so sides are interchangeable and it's glued together on the tabs. The explanatory text is set to not print, everything else is a cut. The holes are placed on the front panel above the center line and the large hole in the base is for tool access when/if they fall through.
