Information

      Whilst I do make intricate mandala designs and multi-layer wall art, these are not really to the taste of a lot of kids being dragged around craft markets, and so I wanted something to interest them.
I was going to a local show set in a forest and thought about what those kids would be into and decided to do something quick and inexpensive - in pocket money range.
And so I set upon a few small boards (The others are on their way.)
This particular design is a knot training board, and by sizing it correctly, I was able to get four out of a sheet of A3 3mm plywood.

Realistically, there is very little to do. I searched online for knots used in everyday situations and used them as the basis for the design. I traced these images in xTool Studio to get the vectors I needed.

Finally, I needed somewhere for them to practise tying the knots, and so I added various cut-out shapes to allow this.

And then I took the single design and replicated it using the Grid Array tool.
