Information

      Here is a box that will amuse young and old. It is a gearbox with a gear opening. By pressing the handle the lid rises thanks to the gears. 
The decoration of the box follows the same theme with egg-hunting rabbits who look for eggs in many gears; There is also a little nod to our laser machines.
there are comic book style bubbles. In the file there is an English and French version.

Step1

The file contains 3 canvases

,

the first canvas contains all the cutting elements of the box without the engravings.

The second canvas contains the English version engravings that are already positioned on the parts of the box (the two sides, the lid, the front side)

The third canvas contains the French version engravings that are already positioned on the parts of the box (the two sides, the lid, the front side)

choose the version you want, without engraving or English version or French version and start cutting

We start assembling 

the back side and the lid 

glue the back side to the base, at the same time glue the two sides and the front side

I advise you to use an elastic band to now and glue the 4 sides together

now that the box is mounted we will add the gears

Put a large washer on each side of the box on the axis of the lid.

Then put the small gear and then another large washer.

You can glue the two washers and the gears together

we're going to mount the big cogwheels. 

you have two small pieces that look like a T.

You will position them inside the box in the holes on each side.

Above all, do not glue them because these parts serve as axes and they rotate the toothed wheels.

Then you will have to put a small washer on each side of the axis outside the box.

Then you put the large notched wheel, make sure that the notches are well fitted into the notches of the small cogwheel.

Then you put the rabbits on each side of the box, make sure they are both straight.

finally put a last washer after the rabbit

Be careful it is better to glue all the parts together. Be careful with the first washer not to stick it to the side of the box.

Then insert the handles (pedals) to the two rabbits and it's done 

, take the time between each step to let the glue dry.
