🐰 Easter basket to decorate – Children's creative 🥕 workshop

For this Easter contest, I imagined a wooden basket to assemble and personalize, designed as a creative activity to share with the children.

The idea was to create an object that was not only decorative, but a real creative experience: painting, decorating and preparing your own basket for the egg hunt.

The design remains deliberately simple and warm, in order to leave all the room for imagination:

Painting

Bonding

Egg Decorating

Personalization with the first name

The basket comes with a small personalised carrot, hanging from the handle, which adds a playful touch and allows you to add the child's name.

On the façade, a small gourmet rabbit surrounded by decorated eggs evokes the joyful and childlike world of Easter.

🌿 This project is part of my world of artisanal wooden creations, where each object is designed to create a bond, share a moment and leave a trace of memories.

Instruction

1

Step1: Cutting parts

Use a 420 x 300 mm (3 mm thick) plywood sheet.

p style="margin-left:0.0px;">Import the file into the laser cutting software and check the placement of the elements on the plate.

The file includes:

  • the sides of
  • the basket the base
  • the front and back panels
  • the handle
  • decorative elements

Then start cutting and engraving.

After cutting, carefully remove all parts and sand lightly if necessary to remove burn marks.

2

Step2: Painting the rabbit

Before assembly, paint the decorative elements.

Paint:

  • rabbit ears
  • ,
  • cheeks,
  • carrot
  • ,
  • decorative eggs

Acrylic paint or paint markers can be used.

Allow to dry completely before handling parts.

3

Step3: Gluing and assembly

Assemble the basket by nesting the different pieces:

  1. insert the base in the sides
  2. attach the front and back panels
  3. insert the shackle into the notches provided

Add a dot of wood glue in the assemblies to reinforce the strength.

Finally, tie the custom carrot to the shackle with a ribbon or string.

✨ The cart is now ready to be filled for the egg hunt!
