Engraved easter eggs

To make colored hard boiled eggs at home, follow these simple steps. Begin by boiling an egg until it is hard. Then, mix a couple of tablespoons of vinegar with about a cup of hot water and add a few drops of food coloring. Place the hard boiled egg in the mixture and let it soak for a few minutes. The longer you leave it in, the stronger the color will be. Once you're satisfied with the color, remove the egg from the mixture and let it dry completely. 

Reverse the grips of your RA2 pro to touch the egg. Measure the egg and input the perimeter in XCS2.0 software.

I used the perimeter of the egg to create a box that was as long as the egg. Then, I estimated the width of the egg by using the crosshairs of the laser and dragging the laser head to each side of the egg. Finally, I placed what I wanted to put on the egg inside the box that I made.

Now, it's time to load up the egg. Look at the photo to see how it was done. Make sure that it is tight; try to rotate the chuck and see if the egg rotates. If it does not, it is not tight enough.

We are now at the final stages of the process. First, remove the box and select the elements you want to engrave. Combine them into one shape and set the power level to 15 and the speed to 80mm/s. Please note that the power level may need to be adjusted depending on the color of the egg. Now, it's time to use the laser. Please put on your laser-safe glasses and begin the process.
