3D Model Layer Slicer
Upload or generate a 3D model and turn it into a stack of laser-cut board layers. Layer Slicer reads your material thickness, slice direction, model height, and layer count, then auto-splits the model into cuttable contours. Preview the stacked and exploded views in 3D, add alignment holes, and export cut-ready files for wood, acrylic, cardboard, and foam board.
How It Works
From a 3D model to laser-ready layers in three steps. No CAD prep, no manual slicing.
One-Click 3D Model to Sliceable Layers
Layer Slicer is built for board fabrication, not 3D printing. It takes a solid 3D model and automatically converts it into a series of stackable, laser-cuttable layers — the exact structure a laser cutter needs but can't produce on its own. Instead of slicing the model by height in CAD and exporting contour after contour, you get a complete layered build from one model, dropping the barrier from model to laser-ready file.

Auto Layer Count from Material Thickness
Tell Layer Slicer your board thickness and target size, and it works out how many layers you need and the total stack height — no repeated 3mm / 4mm / 5mm math. Switch from one material to another and the layer count, proportions, and height recalculate automatically, so you don't re-plan the whole build every time you change boards.

Real-Time Stacked & Spread Preview
Don't wait until the material is cut to find out the model looks wrong. Layer Slicer shows the model as it stacks up layer by layer, so you can judge proportion, layer density, thickness, and finished height before exporting. Toggle between Stacked, Spread, and Export views to admire the final form or inspect each individual slice contour.

Alignment Holes & Cut-Ready Export
Multi-layer builds twist and shift without registration. Layer Slicer lets you set a hole diameter and add alignment holes so every layer locks into place during assembly — a real fix for round, symmetrical, and complex curved models. When the stack looks right, export production files ready for laser cutting on wood, acrylic, cardboard, and foam board.
