Inspiration 1: Bringing People Closer — Focus on a specific person in your life to create something personal that brings warmth and joy to their everyday world, such as a beautifully engraved table sign that serves as a cherished wedding keepsake.
Inspiration 2: Empowering the Community — Improve a shared neighborhood space or bring your local community closer together by designing a simple project, like a clear signpost to help neighbors navigate trails safely.
Inspiration 3: Harmonizing with the Natural World — Foster a peaceful coexistence with nature by building a simple creation that protects wildlife or reduces our footprint, such as an eco-friendly birdhouse designed to provide safe shelter for local birds nesting.

How to participate
Step1
Create Your Entry.
Design and produce your entry according to the contest theme and guidelines. Make sure your project is original and meets all requirements.
Step2
Upload and Share to Social Media.
Post your project on Atomm with #1PercentMakerChallenge. Then share it on social media with #1PercentMakerChallenge, #atomm, #xtool, # fab26 tags, and @Atomm's official account. Paste your post link in Project Instruction to qualify.
Step3
Waiting for Review.
Entries will be reviewed within 24 hours to confirm they meet all requirements. Successful submissions will appear in the 'Entries' section.
Tips to Win
- Social Media Sharing (Required): To qualify for the contest, please complete all the following steps:
- Post your project on Atomm with the tag #1PercentMakerChallenge.
- Share your project on social media with tags #1PercentMakerChallenge, #atomm, #xtool, # fab26 and make sure to @Atomm's official account if it exists.
- Add the social media post link in your Project Instruction to complete your entry eligibility.
- Final Project Photos: Submit at least one clear photo of your finished project. We recommend 2–5 photos to best showcase its details and overall presentation.
- Process & Detail Images: We strongly encourage uploading 3 or more steps or detail photos. Showing how your project was made will significantly boost its visibility within the community.
- Clear & Complete Tutorials: A well-structured, easy-to-follow tutorial will significantly improve your project's overall score.
- Multiple Entries: Feel free to enter more than once. More submissions mean more chances to win!
- Valid & Editable Files: Ensure your uploaded files are error-free and ready for others to use, such as XCS, SVG, DXF, or other editable formats.
Judging Criteria
By submitting an entry, you authorize Atomm & xTool to use your project across all platforms, including social media and the xTool website. Winning entries will be selected based on the following dimensions:

- Jury Evaluation (50%): Scored by our expert joint jury (MIT CBA, Fab Foundation, and xTool).
- Social Media Engagement (25%): Scored by likes on social platforms to measure overall popularity online.
- Community Downloads (25%): Scored based on the total number of downloads your project gets within the Atomm community.
- Community Choice Award
- Community Downloads (50%): Scored based on the total number of downloads your project gets within the Atomm community.
- Social Media Engagement (50%): Scored by likes on social platforms to measure overall popularity online.
Special Awards:
- Atomm Download Ranking (100%): Ranked based entirely on the total number of downloads each individual project receives within the Atomm community.
Other Awards:
- Participation Award: Each valid participant will receive 50 Credits.
- New Creator Prize: 900 Credits awarded if you publish your first project within 30 days of registration; 800 Credits awarded after 30 days.
Submission Guidelines:
- Originality & Verification: All entries must be your own original work. To protect the rights of original creators, the judging panel will conduct a comprehensive web-wide search to verify authenticity. Entries found to have a high degree of similarity to existing works will be disqualified.
- AI Usage: Your submission must include at least one actual photograph of the finished physical project. Purely digital renders or AI-generated images without a physical prototype are not eligible for prizes.
- Third-Party IP: To avoid copyright infringement, any entry containing third-party intellectual property will be disqualified from the contest.
Ineligible Projects
Submissions will be deemed ineligible if they involve any of the following:
- Failing to upload the required project files.
- Tagging submissions incorrectly.
- Using someone else's images or content.
Note: Once the results are announced, all winning projects must remain on Atomm. If a winning project is removed by the creator, the prize will be forfeited, and the Atomm team reserves the right to repost the project.

Compliance
The projects you submit should not contain obscene, pornographic, gambling, superstition, horror, violent content, discriminatory content on nationality, race, religion, gender, content on political beliefs and any other contents which are forbidden by participants’ local laws and regulations.
Terms & Conditions
With the submission of an entry, you authorize Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor or their respective licensees, successors and assigns to print, publish, broadcast, distribute and use, without any further notice, review or consent, throughout the world and in any media now known or hereafter developed in perpetuity, where permitted by law, your entry, including but not limited to the name, likeness, picture, portrait, voice, image or statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without further compensation.
