Precautions
Personnel must be present throughout the processing process to supervise the processPersonnel must be present throughout the processing process to supervise the process
During laser processing, someone must be stationed near the equipment; it is strictly forbidden to leave the machine. Materials can suddenly ignite under high energy density, and flames often take only a few seconds from appearance to spread. Without anyone present, power cannot be cut off immediately to extinguish the fire, potentially causing equipment to burn or even catch fire.
Wear goggles that match the wavelength of the light sourceWear goggles that match the wavelength of the light source
When operating with open covers or using open-type devices, be sure to wear laser goggles that match the wavelength of the light source. Different light sources (blue light/infrared/CO2/UV) have different wavelengths; please pay attention to whether the wavelength protected by the goggles matches the laser;
Processing chlorine-containing materials is prohibitedProcessing chlorine-containing materials is prohibited
It is strictly forbidden to process chlorine-containing materials such as PVC, artificial leather, or veneer soft rubber. Laser burning releases highly corrosive toxic gases such as hydrogen chloride, endangering human health and corroding guide rails, lenses, and circuit boards. When unsure about the material, first conduct a small-area test and observe the smell.
Pay attention to odor prevention during processingPay attention to odor prevention during processing
Materials such as leather, rubber, and silicone produce noticeable odors; ensure good ventilation and wear protective masks if necessary.
Prevent high-temperature burns after processingPrevent high-temperature burns after processing
Freshly processed materials and cuts are very hot; please wait for cooling or wear gloves to pick up parts; do not touch them directly.
