Precautions
Wear goggles that match the wavelength of the light sourceWear goggles that match the wavelength of the light source
When operating with open covers or using open-type devices, be sure to wear laser goggles that match the wavelength of the light source. Different light sources (blue light/infrared/CO2/UV) have different wavelengths; please pay attention to whether the wavelength protected by the goggles matches the laser;
Before cutting, make sure the fire extinguishing equipment is in placeBefore cutting, make sure the fire extinguishing equipment is in place
Before starting cutting, place the CO2 fire extinguisher or blanket within one meter of the equipment in a location that is easily accessible. Combustible materials such as wood and acrylic carry the risk of ignition.
Flammable materials should be placed near the smoke exhaust outletFlammable materials should be placed near the smoke exhaust outlet
Flammable materials such as wood, paper, and fabrics should be placed near the exhaust outlet, so that sparks and smoke generated during processing can be promptly removed, reducing the risk of ignition.
Handling when a flame alarm appearsHandling when a flame alarm appears
If a flame alarm is triggered when processing flammable materials such as plywood, acrylic, or polyester mesh: stop processing immediately, maintain smoke exhaust operation, and only open the lid after confirming there is no open flame. Do not open the lid directly to promote ignition.
Prevent high-temperature burns after processingPrevent high-temperature burns after processing
Freshly processed materials and cuts are very hot; please wait for cooling or wear gloves to pick up parts; do not touch them directly.
🔔 Processing Tips
After cutting, remove the charred edges
Cut edges of wood boards can be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper or wiped with a damp cloth; Applying masking paper in advance can reduce scorching edges at the source.
Materials need to be cleaned after processing
After engraving/cutting, dust and debris may remain on the surface; wipe with a soft cloth or clean water, and if necessary, use a neutral cleaner to significantly enhance the final product's appearance.
Turn on air assist to improve the incision
Turning on Air-Compress Assist blows away slag and dust, suppresses flames, resulting in cleaner cuts and fewer scorched edges; It also reduces smoke during carving.
