To design your own Father's Day coasters you just have to follow the following steps: 

Design 1: "Superdad Super Grandpa"

• First of all we are going to insert a 90 mm circle, which will be the size of the coaster, so we already take into account the real size we have to create our design. Select cut. 
• For this design we will insert the shape of a diamond. We generate its outline in two and select both shapes, click on combine and subtract in superposition, in this way both lines will be joined. 
• We insert text and write the letter S in capital letters. We chose the typography (Cooper Black Italic Pro). We adapt the size of the letter to the inside of the shape and center. Select both shapes and click on combine and join. 
• Insert text and type Superdad and Superabuelo. We select the typography (Gorditas). We place Superdad inside the circle at the top and Superpa inside the circle at the bottom of it. We're going to adjust the size (40) and we're going to curve it. We center them. 
• We select the entire design and we click on it to combine and join so that the design is not altered if we make any movement. We select record.

Design 2: "Happy Father's Day"

• We insert a 90 mm circle. We select cut. 
• We insert text and choose typography (Asterik). We adjust the size and curve the text. 
• We insert a star and generate its outline in 4, we are left with only the outline. 
• We insert text and write "FATHER", we choose typography (College) and adapt its size to place it inside the star. Select both shapes and click on combine and subtract in superimposition. 
• Place the shape inside the circle. We select the design and click on combine and join. We select engrave. 

Design 3: "You're the best dad in the world"

• We insert a 90 mm circle. We select cut. 
• We insert a heart and generate its outline at 0.5, we select both shapes and click on combine and subtract in superposition (heart size w40.97mm h36.25mm). 
• We insert "best" text and choose the typography (Disneyland), adapt its size to the inside of the heart, We select both forms and click on Combine and Join. Place it in the center of the coaster. 
• Insert text "You are the" "daddy of the world" and select the typography (Life Savers), adjust its size to the inside of the circle and curve. 
• Insert two 6mm circles and place them separating the text on both sides. 
• Select the entire design and click on combine and join. Select engrave. 

Design 4: "I love my dad"

• We insert a 90 mm circle. Select cut. 
• Insert border shape and choose the circular one with the quotation marks. Let's remove the quotation marks. We insert two oval circles that encompass the quotation marks. Select both forms and click on combine and subtract. Now we just have the circle, we're going to add the stars. We insert a star, generate its outline in 4 and keep the outline. We make 3 more copies. We adapt their size to the shape and we place them, we make two a little smaller. When we have it to our liking, we select everything and click on combine and join. 
• We insert the text "ME" and choose the typography (Magical Season), adapt its size (64) and center it within the circle. 
• We insert a heart (size w18.59 and h16.31), insert text and write "my", choose the typography (hollidday), place the text inside the heart, Select both shapes and click on combine and subtract in superimposition. 
• We insert text "dad" and choose the typography (hollidday), adjust its size and curve it. We select the entire design and click on combine and join. We select record. We focused the design on the shape of the coaster. 

We're done with the designs. Now let's create them. 

We turn on the Xtool, insert the material we are going to work with (3mm thick MDF board), adjust the height of the laser, check the parameters and hit it start. 

If you have an air assistant, start it only when the machine starts cutting, as the engraving is better without air. 

Once the machine finishes engraving and cutting, we would have our coasters ready but, as they are used to support glasses, it is better if we preserve them in some way. In my case I have used matte varnish spray so that they do not spoil so much from use but you can use another type of varnish (even glass varnish or resin).
