Information

This piece transforms a discarded acoustic guitar into a functional work of art, giving new life to an instrument that could no longer be played. Designed as both a wine display and ambient accent light, the project preserves the guitar's recognizable silhouette while reimagining its purpose.

The interior features custom laser-cut custom shelves and trim that was designed specifically to fit the contours of the original guitar body. Warm LED lighting highlights the natural wood grain and showcases a favorite bottle of wine alongside two suspended stemmed wine glasses. Every detail—from the handcrafted shelving to the decorative trim—was carefully integrated to complement the character of the reclaimed instrument rather than conceal its history.

By combining traditional woodworking, laser-cut fabrication, and upcycling, this design celebrates sustainability and craftsmanship. Instead of ending up in a landfill, a once-unplayable guitar has been transformed into a striking conversation piece that blends music, wine, and functional home décor into a single handcrafted creation.

This project reflects my passion for finding beauty in forgotten materials and creating meaningful pieces that tell a new story while honoring the old one.
