Lightly sand if needed and stain, I used traditional cherry for the paw pads and Ipswich pine for the rest (Varathane brand)

Step 1: Assemble the Back Panel

Align the two bottom halves at the top edge.
Glue them together securely.

Step 2: Add the Top Halves

Position the two top halves over the assembled piece.
Verify that the tabs overhang the edge before gluing.
Allow the adhesive to dry completely.

Step 3: Attach the Front Piece

Connect the pre-assembled bottom half to the front piece.
Apply glue to secure them together.

Step 4: Placement of Paw Pads

Place the paw pad cutout template onto the front piece.
Use this template to align each individual pad accurately.
Glue the pads down into place.
