Coaster Template

Make certain that your cutting bed is aligned exactly to your laser cutter, then place the 12x12 board into the bottom right corner of the bed. You may want to double check to be certain that your board is square.

Align the laser cross hairs on the very top left corner of the 12x12 board.

Run the cut file as stated above.

With the template file still open in XCS, design what you want to engrave on the coasters inside of the circles. 

After you've added text and/or pictures and aligned to your liking, **remove the circles from the workspace and set the power level of the square border to 1%.

Place your coaster blanks inside the circles of the template and run the job!

**Warm tip: Before you modify the template file in XCS, select all objects and copy / paste them into a new canvas. This way you can keep the full template file on one canvas and the engraving template on a second canvas where you can delete the circles after designing your coasters
