Rectangular Wooden Daisy Flower Dangle Earrings

For this design I wanted to have a darker wood, so I waxed with dark brown color. Apply on both sides, and wait a bit until dries.

Use my settings, or adjust a bit - I am using a 10W M1 machine. I set it up to make the engraving deep, so if you want to keep the design natural, and don't want to paint it, it will pop out still.

I like to sand these designs, so the engraving will look much better. Sand it everywhere around, make sure that the edges are smoothen.

Wipe it to make it super clean

If you want to keep the design as is, you can add a layer of clean coat to make it more durable.

Use water-based acrylic markers to paint the design. You need a fine-tip one to deal with the small parts, like the stem and the leaves.

Wait intil it dries.

If you want to make it extra durable and semi-waterproof, you can add a thin layer of varnish to it.

Once all is dried, you can assemble your new earrings. Connect the parts with rings, and add a hoop.
