Clean the mirror and remove any stickers or feet from the back.

Import and resize the image.  In this case I've resized it to 3.5"

Since you will be removing the material from the back of the mirror you will need to “invert” the image.  Although this is not necessary for an image it will be if you add any text.  The choice is yours.

Place the mirror “face down” onto the laser bed.  Try to keep your alignment as straight as possible.

To help with alignment, draw a shape the size of the mirror then select both the image and the shape and alignment them both horizontal and vertical.  Once done you can delete the shape.

Use the parameters listed and send the project to the laser.  Note: You may need to adjust these settings depending on the thickness of the coating on the back of your mirror.

Once the project is complete remove it from the laser and clean the back with hot soapy water, dry with lint free cloth and admire your work!
