Information

I had originally designed it for a country wedding. The intertwined heart patterns on the sides show the envelopes inside, but the plywood remains very rigid.

Two practical things that I integrated into the design:
A round hatch at the back to collect sweet words after the party without having to take everything off.
A solid circle on the front and back to easily engrave the names and date.

It is intended for plywood (poplar or birch) or MDF in 3 mm. The assembly is done by simple interlocking with patience, a small mallet if necessary and a stitch of wood glue inside to finalize.

There are 2 types of heart caning in the file on the front with the first names, it's up to you to choose the one you prefer.
The large circle is designed to be glued to the smaller one cut out of the base, and thus form a lid.

Curious to see what it looks like at home if you make it!

⚠️ WARNING & SAFETY (READ BEFORE USE):
The cutting and engraving parameters (power, speed, passes) provided in this project are given for information purposes only. Since each laser machine, tube, lens and material batch is unique, it is essential to carry out your own pre-tests on a scrap before starting the final project.

By downloading this file, you acknowledge that you are using it at your own risk. The author accepts no liability for any material damage or misconfiguration of your equipment.

🔥 GOLDEN RULE OF SAFETY: Never leave your laser machine running unattended, even for a few seconds. Stay in the immediate vicinity to prevent any risk of fire starting.
