      I needed some new coasters for our house and wanted to commemorate where I live. I was experimenting with the Norton process. I have also done this coaster on cork and wood. I love the tile best. In the last month I have sold over 50 of these

Step1

clean tile very good, first with Dawn, then alcohol, spray with a airbrush a mixture of 1 part titanium Dioxide, 1 part white tempura paint 3 parts distilled water and a few drops food color. apply 2 even coats, once dry put in laser. NOTE: do not touch surface. then engrave. once finished wash off paint
