Before You Begin

Cut the base, Bigfoot silhouette, and all tree pieces from your chosen material. If you plan to paint, stain, or seal the project, it is best to finish the pieces before assembly so all edges and details are easier to reach.

Measure your material thickness before cutting, since small variations can affect how tightly the tabs fit into the base slots.

Assembly

1. Separate the base, Bigfoot piece, and tree pieces.
2. Test-fit each tab into its matching slot before applying glue.
3. Insert the back tree into the rear slot of the base.
4. Add the remaining tree pieces into their matching slots, working from back to front.
5. Insert the walking Bigfoot with bottle and six-pack into the front center slot.
6. Adjust the layout so the trees frame Bigfoot and all layers remain visible.
7. Make sure every piece is standing straight and facing the correct direction.
8. Apply a small amount of wood glue inside each slot for permanent assembly.
9. Reinsert the pieces and wipe away any excess glue.
10. Allow the project to dry completely before moving or displaying it.

Helpful Tips

Use glue sparingly to avoid squeeze-out on the base. If any tabs feel too tight, lightly sand them instead of forcing them into place. Handle the smaller details carefully, especially around Bigfoot’s arms, bottle, and carried six-pack.
