Information

I was glad I had some old baseballs lying around. Don't listen to Amazon when they tell you that leather baseballs are the best to engrave. At least with the F2Ultra, the synthetic baseballs were far superior! The leather is too "rough" and too many variances. Get the kind that are made for autographs.
Also, I took acetone and got rid of the "Made in Chine" stamp so that I'd have two "clean" ends on which to engrave.

Instruction

1

Step1: Engraved baseball

It's crucial to have some sort of “holder” for the ball so it stays perfectly still, and if you're doing multiples, they are all very similar. I happened to have a baseball display stand that I used and it worked perfectly. I've heard people can even use playdough that is formed to hold the ball.

Step2

I used synthetic balls, made for autographs. At least for my machine, leather DID NOT WORK!
